In what could be its biggest acquisition yet, Palo Alto Networks is reportedly in talks to buy CyberArk Software for more than $20 billion. CyberArk is a publicly traded Israeli cybersecurity firm.
The Wall Street Journal reports that a final agreement could be reached within the week. The acquisition would strengthen Palo Alto Networks’ ability to combat complex cyber threats, especially those enhanced by AI.
CyberArk’s leading role in identity security would complement Palo Alto Networks’ suite of services, providing clients with a more robust defense strategy.
The move follows Palo Alto Networks’ acquisition of Protect AI, which has been integrated into the Prisma AIRS platform to safeguard AI applications and infrastructure.
